Copyediting prepares the text for its next stages and has more of an input in making changes and improvements to the story. This stage is much bigger than a proofread and focuses on aspects such as: voice and style, language, the story, context, POV, dialogue, consistency and flow including a smaller focus on spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax and formatting. This stage will help you to fully finish your work before sending it off to a proofreader for a final proofread. 

You will receive a marked-up document with any changes highlighted which you can either accept or reject, suggestions in the comment section or questions to respond to. Once you have gone through the manuscript and accepted or rejected changes and replied to any comments, I will go through once again and return the final manuscript with an editing report (a document stating the successes, the changes, weaknesses and suggestions).
